DOROTEA MOSCARDA Peacefully, on Sunday, December 7, 2003, Dorotea Moscarda, beloved wife of Ferruccio, passed away at Riverview Health Centre. Dorotea will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Ferruccio; daughter Liliana (Ron) Romanowski; sister Velia and family in Croatia, sister Natalia and family in Slovenia; brother Adriano and family in Slovenia and her many friends in Winnipeg. Dora was a loving wife, mother and mother-in-law. She was a kind and loving friend and a lover of nature and of flowers. In her final years she prayed to St. Therese "The Little Flower", who provided her with comfort. The family would like to thank all the caregivers of the W.R.H.A., especially her nurses, Brenda, Kate, and Jennifer for all their care and compassion. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 10 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. Interment to follow at a later date. If so desired, donations may be made in Doras memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
